How sad am I?

Ok, so Hol is away for some training. I hadn't seen her for about 4 hours.....and then I noticed I missed her....!

That's not even as long as we'd be apart on a normal working day. Am I 16 again??

Anyway, we had the last practice for the Christmas Production @ At. Andrews hall last night, and I'm pleased to say it went well. I've added a few crooning song (which I'll sing) and the rest of the songs that the band are playing are sounding really good. I feel really proud of all of them, and I'm not finding it 'odd' having Ben drum most of it. I am blessed to be working with such good people.

Unfortunately our erstwhile keyboard player is ill, and though she made it through practice, I don't want her to have to struggle though the performance on Sunday. It also has an impact on Fridays this Friday, as Mr T is quite ill, and now she is too! I know the Fridays band are flexible, but you need to have people there to be flexible with! Ah well, I'm sure God's got it covered!

I hope, and pray, that as we meet as a community, that God is celebrated. In the past these community Christmas events have really impacted on lives on both the non-Christians and the Christians in Catton & Mile Cross. Err God?.....BRING IT ON!

  2. HaHa! Caught me at it.

I try not to use words incorrectly, but I like the word erstwhile, and, even if Fliss is still our keyboard player, I like calling her erstwhile. Just like I like teasing her about her *******.

  3. It's that phrase again ... and I'm certain he has.

And I've just learnt what erstwhile means.
