Paul Harrison 1973 - 2007

I went to the funeral of Paul Harrison yesterday. For those who don't now, the Network Norwich story is here.

I was glad to go, and I was part of a group from the YMCA whom Paul had recently stated volunteering for.

I'm pleased to say that the place was packed, the overflow room was full and it was standing room only. This is I think just as it should have been.

I would like to avoid over eulogising, but Paul really was a good guy and a good man. He had an energy and a strength and a confidence as a man, that is a good example to the rest of us. Painful though it was to hear Ellie and Zack (wife & Son) talk about him, I was left impressed at the effect he had had as a husband and a father.

Plenty to think about.
