Ambivalence

I'm happy that Hol is now on maternity leave. It should mean that she gets a chance to slow down (a little!) She has dotted all the 'i's and crossed all of the 't's (Dad, you'll have to decide if you like that punctuation!) and has a settled feeling rather than a little worry hear, and a little worry there etc etc which is great.

I am, however, sad that Elle has left nursery. It has been amazing for her and she has grown so much. I am very grateful for the positive input that all of the staff have had and I guess that I think that Elle will now miss out.

She will in fact be spending lots of time with Hol and the new baby, so it may well be that she will be fine and I will be the one missing out!
