Changing Worship

Recently a friend in the states put out a challenge to write a piece on what 'Worship Means to Me'

So I thought I'd have a go.

It's not finished but hopefully it will be. I'm surprised at the range of thoughts the title brought to mind. Most tell of my journey in the last 3 or 4 years including what I've discarded.

Interestingly, none gives a full answer and maybe that's the best thing I've learned; If I am growing spiritually then my worhip will be as changing as God is unchanging, because He does not change but my worship must reflect who I am and who I am becoming.

  1. My personal definition of worship is this: "Worship is my life response to God". I know everyone's definition is different. I really liked your thoughts. This is great: "If I am growing spiritually then my worhip will be as changing as God is unchanging, because He does not change but my worship must reflect who I am and who I am becoming."

    Phil,

Looking forward to reading it. I've loved reading bits and pieces of the journey you've been on the last couple of years.

I like this thought... I am going to follow suit and do a post in the coming days on this very thing. Neat thought. I like what you wrote, so I need to stop reading, or I might think my borrowing of your idea was my creative idea.
